Future Steel Limited Job Opening: Fitter-Welders Future Steel Limited, based in Papakura, Auckland, specializes in structural steel, metal fabrication, welding, and steel beams. We are seeking five fitter-welders to join our team. Additional Information: This position is only open to New Zealand citizens or Resident Visa holders. Please include your visa status in your CV when applying.Job Responsibilities: Study drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method, and sequence of operations, and machine settings. Fit fabricated metal parts into products and assemble metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment. Perform accurate structural steel welding and fabrication, including other structural steel components.Check fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance, and fit using precision measuring instruments. Provide professional service in a timely manner. Display a positive team attitude towards the role and colleagues. Comply with company guidelines and policies applicable to this position.Key Requirements for Successful Applicants: At least 2 years of experience in fabricating or welding operations. Relevant qualification or certification is an advantage. Punctual, reliable, and a positive, can-do attitude. Physically fit, as the job involves heavy lifting. Willingness to learn and progress.Ability to work with deadlines and schedules, and availability to work weekends if required. Note: We prioritize health and safety.
