You will be working with parents and their infants or pre-school aged children who may need extra support in the home. Your goal is to help them build self-confidence, provide companionship, teach practical life skills, support with basic short-term tasks, and help them utilize community resources effectively.Requirements: Our ideal volunteers are practical, open-minded, empathetic, have good communication skills, a sense of humor, and can maintain confidentiality. Experience in raising children and managing a household is preferred. Skills may include parenting routines, time management, stress coping strategies, menu planning, budgeting, and housekeeping.A Police background check is required for this role.
