This is achieved by identifying new clients, responding to enquiries, converting leads and event coordination up to the day of event. This position works closely with internal stakeholders from other hotel departments to ensure events are planned and executed professionally and efficiently.Our Vision is to be the most highly regarded hospitality, leisure and entertainment company outperforming our markets by being better than yesterday, every day. Receive and convert inbound enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue. Develop and executive proactive sales activity to support in targeting new business. Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions.Conduct post event follow up. Arrange and carry out hotel site inspections and entertaining. Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned conferences and/or events. Maintaining an up-to-date database of clients and sales activities using the CRM. Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs.Establish and maintain relationships with all relevant industry representatives. Work closely with operations, F&B, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth event delivery. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the Director of Sales. Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Attend meetings as required and present pertinent information and accurate data on C&E sales, forecast figures and trends. Take ownership of sales collateral to ensure all information is correct and up to date. Ensuring a consistent focus on client needs and satisfaction; building a culture of exceptional service is paramount, consistently delivering exemplary standards of guest service.Be a brand ambassador for the hotel as well as EVENT Hospitality&Entertainment. Follow and adhere to hotel policies, procedures, guidelines and manuals to ensure compliance, safety and profitability. Give assistance and support to other departments and/or colleagues when needed. Participate in scheduled training and development programs.
