About the role: The Payments Platform provides a secure environment for superior payment experiences, empowering our customers with trusted payments. Within this platform, the Cards Domain supports resilient and future-ready card payment capabilities for all customers, including business and corporate clients.As a Software Specialist, you will: Apply your Card Payment expertise to lead the team in building, supporting, and maintaining applications. Contribute to testing processes within the squad. Work on delivering and supporting a secure, functional, and high-performing ecosystem for our customers.Our environment fosters growth in agile methodologies, learning, evolution, and decision-making empowerment. You'll be involved in complex, enterprise-scale work within a small, autonomous squad where your voice matters. We practice agile, cross-functional squads that cover all facets of engineering daily. We seek candidates with a blend of payments experience and technical skills for activities such as:Reviewing requirements and specifications. Creating agile testing strategies and plans. Building and supporting test automation and performance testing. Verifying and validating functionality. Analyzing and reporting test results. Identifying issues within functionalities, especially in payment transactions.Collaborating with stakeholders for end-to-end testing and sign-off. Presenting testing approaches and outcomes to various audiences. About you: You will champion the squad's quality goals and work collaboratively to improve customer payment experiences. The ideal candidate has: 10+ years of test engineering experience.3+ years in testing within the Card Payments industry. Experience with test simulators (e.g., FINSIM). Knowledge of functional, system, API, integration, and performance testing. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Agile methodologies. Developing, maintaining, and executing test automation, along with mentoring on standards and best practices.Ability to define test strategies, plans, and reports, and to estimate and prioritize testing work. Additional advantages include: Financial/banking domain experience. ISTQB Fundamentals certification. Experience with Cloud technologies.
