This role is crucial in providing coordination, administrative, and project support to our Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) team. You will play a key role in supporting processes, document preparation, data management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. In this role, you will be responsible for:Coordinate and manage HSW data collection, documentation, compliance administration, and support for safety projects and initiatives. Manage HSW risk in relation to contractors engaged by Auckland Transport. Support the management of HSW events and issues to minimize risk. Participate in or support HSW programs to reduce or prevent workplace injury.Manage HSW inboxes and SharePoint sites. Administrative support for facilitated learning teams/investigations. Build quality working relationships within Auckland Transport. Support Wellbeing leads to achieve strategic objectives and vision. Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring? As well as having significant experience in a similar role within health and safety, we are also looking for someone who has:Experience in the use of H&S reporting systems, knowledge of New Zealand Health and Safety legislation, standards, and codes of practice, and knowledge of ISO standards. Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role within health and safety. Tertiary qualification in health, safety, and wellbeing; Auditing course. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
