Currently, due to parental leave cover, we have a fixed-term opportunity (ending 30 June 2026) for an experienced specialist in population and demand data planning to join our close-knit Strategic Planning team.This role involves developing infrastructure-focused strategies to meet Auckland's future water service needs and expectations. You will operate Watercare's population models and datasets, supporting infrastructure planning projects and ensuring data integrity and usability in collaboration with Auckland Council and internal teams.We seek a passionate, analytical professional with excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with multiple stakeholders across the business. Your background should include: Relevant qualification in data analytics, data engineering, forecasting, or demographics. At least three years' experience in a related field.Experience with population investigations using spatial, temporal, and various datasets.
