About the roles: Payments Platform provides secure environment enabling superior payment experiences to empower our customers with trusted payments.Within Payments Platform, We Have Our Main Domains Cross border - That supports and modernizes our critical international payment systems/services, to ensure we meet best practice and our ongoing customer demand. Cards - That support the delivery of resilient and future fit card payment capability for all our customers including business and corporate customers.Domestic - That support the delivery of resilient and future fit bulk payments capability for our business and corporate customers. Build and support the Core Payment execution engine and Real Time Payment Instruction within Azure.The domain is made up of a few micro-services running as Azure Functions.As a Software Engineer, you will apply your Payment expertise to help the team in building, supporting, and maintaining our applications and contribute to the overall testing processes within the squad. You'll be part of a team on the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performant ecosystem to our customers. We are looking for a mix of technical and non- technical skills to support the following activities: Reviewing requirements and specifications. Building and supporting test automation.Verifying and validating functionality being developed. Analysing and reporting test results. Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end and obtain sign- off. Attention to details is key to identify issues within functionalities (Eg: Identify and advise on issues causality in payment transactions).Meeting our regulatory requirements from RBNZ and International organisations such as SWIFT. Redesign our internal solutions to use modern cloud technology and align with ISO20022 framework. About you: We Are Looking For An Individual That Will Champion The Squad's Quality Goals. If You Have An Eye On Detail And Like To See How Things Work, You Will Have a Lot Of Fun With Us. You Will Work Collaboratively With Our Squads And Stakeholders To Be The Voice Of Test Engineering And Deliver Better&Safer Customer Payment Experiences. We Are Looking For Someone Who Has 3+ years of test engineering experience. Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, API testing, end to end testing. Experience in developing, maintaining and executing test automation. Experience in performance testing with tools such as Load Runner/ jMeter/K6.Good understanding and experience of working using Agile principles. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps. Working knowledge of SQL, CosmosDB. In Addition, The Following Would Be An Advantage Financial/banking domain experience. Working experience in test simulators (Eg: FINSIM).
