People like you, who care to make a difference.About The Opportunity Engineers in the Home Respiratory Support team work on a wide variety of disciplines, including electric motors, humidifiers, breathing tubes/connectors, user interface and general mechanical design. Being a device that is primarily used by patients in the home, we are committed to making the product stylish and easy to use, bridging the gap between consumer product and medical device. We work together with our software and hardware teams to develop new features and solve complex technical problems to meet the needs of our patients. In this role you will be tasked with designing, building and testing prototypes. We are at the detailed design phase of our project. Profile description:About You You will have the following: An Engineering degree (prefer mechatronics or mechanical) and good communication and time management skills. Hands on skills, problem solving ability, creativity and CAD skills with a preference for Solidworks. Knowledge of materials including plastics, metals and PCBA/wire/interconnects.Knowledge of thermos/fluid dynamics.
