We’re growing fast—and we’re looking for a Lab Assistant for our Concrete and Mortar lab. Role Overview:This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, fast-paced lab environment—perfect for someone passionate about sustainability and curious about materials science. You’ll support our R&D team in making concrete, mortar, and cement paste ; prepare materials; assess both fresh and hardened properties of samples; record and report results ; and help maintain a clean, organised, and safe lab space . We’re looking for someone who: Has experience with concrete testing (preferred)Holds a science or engineering degree (ideal) Works well in a collaborative team setting Is comfortable with hands-on practical work in a lab. (e.g. mixing concrete) Enjoys working in a startup atmosphere where things move quickly and change often. Has strong attention to detail and good communication skillsIs comfortable with basic Excel and data analysis Can follow standard procedures and work safely in a lab environment Salary: $65,000/year Location: Parnell Auckland, NZ (Lab-based role) Help us shape the future of construction—one mix at a time.
