About The Role This role in our CBD office will provide you with a challenging and rewarding career where you will be exposed to a wide variety of tax issues and clients.You will focus on helping our clients satisfy their tax obligations and develop tax effective structures for each stage of their business growth. You will be involved in providing a mix of tax compliance and consulting services to a broad range of clients, from individuals to corporate groups.We are looking for all-rounders who have a pro-active approach to client relationships, are organised and have a high attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Compile and prepare financial statementsAssist with budgeting, forecasting and management reports Attend client meetings and prepare meeting notes with action points Collate Material for preparation of returns Prepare tax returns Prepare indirect tax returns Prepare provisional tax calculations Check entries of assessments and statements of accountPrepare compliance work papers Experience We are looking for someone who is experienced, has strong commercial acumen and looking for career growth with: Ideally 2+ years of business advisory experience in a CA environment Accounting background and/or working towards CA qualification Excellent communication skillsStrong technical and analytical skills Your Future at BDO Auckland When you join us, we’ll make your growth our priority.
