NZ$ 70,000.00 - 80,000.00 (New Zealand Dollar) Purpose : This position entails providing practical and technical expertise for installing and maintaining specialised parking systems. Specific Duties&Responsibilities : Assist with and/or oversee installing new Company products and systems into designated carparking sites per standard installation practices, including wireless sensors, communications gateways and related RF hardware, electronic signage and ANPR/LPR cameras. Assigning unique software identifiers to sensors and related hardware.Programming sensors with the correct software settings as specified for the site. Setting up and commissioning the RF network to support the SmartCloud reporting and management system. Provide post-installation maintenance and support to installed Company sites per agreed service agreements. Assist other Company Installation Technicians with maintaining workshop and warehouse facilities to the required standard including tools and equipment.Maintain Company vehicles to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness. Perform other tasks as directed by Company staff. Attend training as appropriate to further develop relevant knowledge and skills. Liaising with customers as required providing first-line support Maintain and update the customer issues logProvide feedback to customers on issue resolution as required Provide support to the installation team before and during new site installations Work with both customers and SPT staff to assist with the bedding in of systems post-installation Developing and maintaining procedural and process documentationAct as liaison between the SPT R&D team and the customer General Duties&Responsibilities : Be punctual and work the hours and times specified. Prioritise workload to ensure work of the greatest importance to the business is undertaken with urgency and to a high standard. Support and help develop a positive workplace culture. Demonstrate through own actions a commitment to Work Health and Safety at work, when undertaking work or observing others in the workplace.Skills, Experience&Education : Experience working with power tools and other light machinery such as generators, etc Experience in the Parking or Security industry would be advantageous Good level of computer literacy Some practical work experience in a manual environment is desirable but not essential A good level of physical fitnessAbility to work unsupervised. A practical "can do" attitude The ability to communicate clearly and concisely The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines A willingness to be flexible in terms of work hours A willingness to learn from others and take lessons from on-the-job experiencesAvailability to travel both domestically and internationally as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
