Senior Experience / Service Designer– 6 Month Contract, Auckland

Our client is a well-known corporate, that is home to some of New Zealand and Australia’s most trusted and well-known names in insurance, banking and superannuation. They are looking for a senior level Experience / Service Designer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract with an immediate start.Working full time hours– 3 days per week inhouse / 2 remote, based in central Auckland. In this position you will support in the development of an automated customer journey, creating a seamless future state digital customer journey. Alongside the development of the future state journey, you will play a key role in understanding the future state business processes and technology that enable this journey, to drive the evidence-based and customer-centric design, implementation and improvement of digital products and experiences, coordinating the tactical activities required to achieve product success metrics and organisational objectives.Work with a senior experience designer and other stakeholders to define the experience/service design approach for this workstream. Responsible for the day to day running and management of the workstream including: Planning and facilitating workshops and ideation sessions Using data and insights to define the path forwardCreating key visual artefacts (like journey maps) which explain the problem/opportunity Collaborating closely with Business Leaders, Product Owners and SMEs to progress problem solving and identify opportunities. Working closely with business and tech SMEs to explore feasibility Planning, running and analysing qualitative researchSharing key findings with stakeholders Having experience in planning and executing research and Human Centred Activities. Collaborating closely with UX/UI Designers, UX Researchers, Business Analysts, and Business Stakeholders on a daily basis– therefore your communication skills will be second to none.With 5+ years experience with stakeholder management skills, you will also have the practical experience of group facilitation across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, along with: The practical application of Human Centred Design methodologies in financial services or other consumer driven organisations.Proven systems thinking experience Experience designing for digital in complex environments Ability to understand and combine various data sources This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional team and a company who will value your input and insights.
