As Team Leader Aquatics , you will play a key part in improving the customer experience for all Aucklanders who visit our Centre. You will be responsible for, and not limited to: Effectively leading the day-to-day operation of the Aquatics team, including the safe supervision of our pools and operation of our aquatic servicesLeading, coaching, and engaging a team of Lead Lifeguards and Lifeguards Ensuring hazard management plans, policies, processes, and training are effectively managed with ongoing compliance within the team Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and implement ways to improve customer experience and grow participationThis is a permanent full-time opportunity. You should have strong people leadership and management experience in similar aquatic environments. Joining an energetic team, you will be an influential leader experienced in managing and developing high-performing teams within leisure facilities. Ensuring employees' physical and mental well-being is a priority.It is preferred that you hold a current Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate and have experience in pool plant management and operations. As the centre operates 7 days a week, reliability and commitment to working early, late, and weekend shifts are essential.
