This senior role reports to the Head of Pricing and involves growing and developing the Portfolio Pricing team. The Pricing Manager will take a hands-on approach to generate actionable insights from internal and external data sources that inform pricing recommendations, working alongside key stakeholders within AA Insurance. Being outcomes-focused, highly organized with strong attention to detail, proactive, accountable, and professional are key qualities.Key Responsibilities: Leading activities that deliver portfolio objectives, identifying trends and growth opportunities, and measuring outcomes. Managing workloads, supporting, and guiding pricing analysts. Assisting in developing strategic initiatives through data-driven insights. Building strong partnerships with key stakeholders to facilitate successful change.Monitoring portfolio health and performance, including ad-hoc analysis. Achieving targets aligned with operational excellence. Overseeing price change implementation, considering profitability, growth targets, external environment, and customer impact. Collaborating with the technical pricing team to embed outputs into the price change process.Maintaining an understanding of competitor pricing activity and positioning. Developing a sustainable learning and development path for the team. Forecasting premiums and contributing to financial planning. Candidate Profile: Minimum six years' experience in a large financial, insurance, or professional services business.Proven leadership and people management experience in a senior role. Extensive insurance pricing experience. Relevant tertiary degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or actuarial science. Knowledge of statistical and data programming languages (e.g., Excel, Tableau/Power BI, R, Python).Excellent stakeholder management skills. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and resilience.
