Based in central Auckland, they are looking for a highly organised, and creative Senior Product Designer, to join the team. Working closely with the product owners and senior designers, your role is to help the team design the right thing and then test and iterate it extensively with user feedback.As the Senior Product Designer, you will be expected to drive and oversee activities such as: User research, design research (prototype testing) and usability testing Translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes As a Senior member of the team, you will be comfortable mentoring and coachingless experienced members. You will employ a strong understanding of best practices, self-directed research and keeping up on industry trends, and most importantly, be an advocate for UX. Essential skills for this role: Someone who has worked within a cross-discipline design and development teamProficiency in Figma for design Experience in conducting primary research i.e. Empathy interviews Strong written and presentation skills Experience in planning and managing your own projects Experience with designing for web and mobile Strong interaction design skills such as wireframing, user flows, customer journey mappingExperience in designing complex apps would be advantageous They offer a hybrid work from home / office culture and require candidates who are based in Auckland to go into the Auckland office at least once a week and when required.
