As our Project Manager , you will be responsible regionally for the Projects Major/Minor Works and project-related Technical Support primarily. The business unit is the key support function to our Auckland branch Alarms/Sprinkler Project revenue. You will be responsible for Projects day-to-day financial, internal/external customers, design, Health&Safety, technical development, and organise project related technical training within the company. What You Will Do Supervise all field personnel, sub-contractors, technicians and technical resources including design team and fabrication requirements, as needed to ensure efficient utilisation of labour and maximum profit on contracts.Program and administer contracts to achieve maximum returns and client satisfaction. Identify and close project opportunities as well, provide support to enable successful completion of projects and maintain high delivery standards in the relevant market. Gather requirements, deliverables, and timeframes from stakeholders.Agree on priorities with clients. Plan resources Create project plans. Communicate key milestones. Communicate the project plan internally and with the client. Produce reports for management (e.g., performance metrics) Communicate frequently with sponsors and stakeholders. Know the team’s strengths and weaknesses, together and individually.Plan around the team’s skills to ensure end success. Adhere to the critical path and have a plan to mitigate issues that invariably arise. What we look for? Bachelors in mechanical/Electrical Engineering Relevant project management qualifications Previous Fire Protection experience in ProjectsProven track record in sales revenue and business growth High degree of problem-solving ability Experience with Projects fire protection systems High degree of written and verbal communication skills Financial capabilities Advanced level skills in Microsoft Suite Please note pre-employment checks– including reference checks, medical, criminal record check, and drug&alcohol testing– will form part of the eligibility process.
