This role can be based in Australia or New Zealand and is hybrid, requiring at least three days a week in the office.About the Role Reporting to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, you will develop and lead processes to embed enterprise risk management tools, practices, and policies. Your responsibilities include delivering risk advisory services, monitoring, assurance activities, and supporting compliance with global and local requirements. You will also promote a strong risk culture and collaborate with senior leadership.Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of the regional enterprise risk strategy. Maintain frameworks, policies, and standards across the organization. Support the setting of risk appetite aligned with business strategy. Provide expert risk advisory and challenge services.Oversee risk profile reviews and assurance activities. Develop risk-based monitoring plans for compliance. Report on risk metrics to management and boards. Support the delivery of global risk services. Drive a strong risk culture and governance. Engage with senior stakeholders to promote accountability and governance.Lead and motivate the risk team, ensuring continuous improvement. Minimum Requirements University qualifications in law, risk, or business. Extensive experience in enterprise risk management, preferably in financial services. Strong knowledge of business processes and risk frameworks.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Deep understanding of enterprise risk management principles. Ability to manage priorities and deliverables in a dynamic environment. Technical skills in regulatory, legal, and compliance areas. Strong organizational skills and proficiency with technology.Ability to produce sound analysis and reporting. Preferred Skills Experience in the financial services industry.
