You will report directly to the EGM Partnering and Organisational Development, playing an important role in developing, embedding, and delivering our global People strategy.What You'll Do To thrive in this role, you will love working in the business as well as mentoring, coaching, and growing your team. The combination of leadership, business partnership, and hands-on collaboration requires someone who embraces challenges, competing priorities, and the ability to make an impact.Key responsibilities include: Providing strategic Business Partner support to XLT members and leading the Business Partners supporting your XLT members and their leadership teams. Offering guidance to the Chief Product and Technology Officer and regional leaders, especially in Australia and New Zealand.Collaborating with other GMs of PX Partnering to ensure alignment and a‘one team’ approach across all Partnering functions. Working with PX Center of Excellence teams to ensure seamless collaboration across global locations. Identifying skills and development opportunities within your team to demonstrate PX capabilities.Serving as a trusted advisor on talent management, organizational design, restructures, and high-risk ER issues. Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and advising on risks. Using data to analyze trends and develop solutions aligned with priorities. Supporting recruitment and workforce planning efforts.Building a positive employee experience that aligns with Xero’s values. Contributing to PX team evolution and improvement initiatives. Supporting the Chief People Officer and EGM as needed. Managing risks and compliance proactively. Success Looks Like Upholding the reputation of the People function through credible, strategic HR advice.Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and peers. Being a trusted advisor to XLT members and leadership teams. High team engagement and contribution to PX objectives. High-quality, timely HR advice and documentation.
