What you will be doing Are you ready to make a significant impact at Tower? As our Portfolio Initiative, Governance&Planning Manager, you'll be at the heart of our governance frameworks, driving the Delivery Ways of Working, and supporting the journey from Idea to Mobilisation for new initiatives. You'll play a key role in coordinating our quarterly planning and keeping our stakeholders in the loop with progress updates at the portfolio level.Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Portfolio and Planning, you'll ensure the completion of Initiative Briefs and be an integral part of our transformation office. Your efforts will help us maximise the value we derive from our organisational initiatives. If you're passionate about governance, planning, and making things happen, we want you on our team!Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities: Ensure that Tower's governance, prioritisation and planning approach and frameworks are applied consistently and effectively across all projects and delivery initiatives. Provide coaching and guidance on governance committees to ensure that the right level of discussions and decisions are being madeEstablish and ensure adherence to reporting standards and protocols for accurate, timely, and consistent portfolio reporting across Tower, and work with stakeholders to provide ongoing reporting of portfolio-wide performance against KPIs and early warning indicators. Manage prioritisation activities for PPIC decision making and Quarterly Planning and communicate decisions transparently with related rationale to stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met through effective communication and collaboration Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the portfolio working closely with the line 1 risk manager.Lead quarterly planning process and coordination of quarterly planning sessions to align projects and initiatives with organisational priorities, ensuring clear objectives and aligned and actionable plans across all projects and agile delivery squads. Conduct scenario planning to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities, ensuring the organisation is prepared for various future scenarios.Provide support, guidance and quality assurance reviews to Business Owners and Exec sponsors during ideation scoping, prioritisation scoring, effort estimation and benefit impact analysis activities. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the ideation, prioritisation and planning processes, implementing changes to enhance effectivenessWhat You'll Need 5+ years experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, programme management, or similar role, ideally within the financial services industry. Experience in executing and tracking strategic plans and initiatives. Deep knowledge of portfolio management frameworks (e.g. P3M), ideally with a relevant certification.Experience using Project Portfolio Management tooling (e.g. Planview, Jira Align) to inform portfolio performance and planning discussions. Proven ability to use data analytics and performance metrics (including financial data) to drive strategic decisions. Knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle and Agile development methodologies and tools.Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance. Has excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presenting findings Understanding of financial principles and budgeting to manage portfolio costs and ensure financial accountability.Demonstrates a strong understanding of Tower's vision and strategy to coordinate portfolio prioritisation and planning Maintains high standards of accuracy and consistency in reporting, communicating portfolio insights succinctly and effectively to stakeholders Our Commitment We pride ourselves on encouraging everyone to bring their whole selves to work, embracing diverse opinions, experiences, and backgrounds.
