ICT Solutions Architect, Auckland

We are looking for a talented and experienced ICT Solution Architect to join our dynamic team in Tāmaki Makaurau. As a Solution Architect, you'll work within the ICT Architecture space, delivering solution and application architecture design services to product teams and projects. You'll provide guidance and advice on best practices to achieve desired outcomes while aligning with SkyCity's ICTstrategies and roadmaps.In this role, you'll: Collaborate with product teams and projects to understand end-to-end solutions and provide architectural advice. Align to direction provided by the Enterprise Architects and Practice lead. Develop comprehensive application architecture designs, including software, hardware, and network elements.Lead application and integration design to ensure new vendor software has appropriate access to backend systems. Document key design decisions and ensure they are endorsed through governance. Support implementation design by providing input into implementation plans and managing dependencies. Update ICT architecture artifacts and repositories.Design architecture diagrams and content in the SkyCity modelling tool Ensure alignment with SkyCity's ICT governance and roadmaps. Maximize customer satisfaction by managing and escalating issues promptly. Mentor and coach team members, fostering a high-performance team environment. You will bring:A positive and "can do" attitude Relevant professional/tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience. 7+ years of relevant experience in the IT industry. Experience working as a technical liaison between various internal organisations. Ability to translate requirements and business processes into solution options.TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework experience is desirable. ArchiMate Modelling experience is desirable. Experience in Agile Architecture environments is desirable. Strong integrity and high personal and professional standards.
