The Intermediate Ad Tech / Data Specialist plays a key role in contributing to and implementing our digital data strategy. This hands-on role will be at the forefront of leveraging our ad tech and martech stack to unlock the power of our data, creating valuable audience segments, delivering actionable insights, building innovative data products for our media sales teams, and championing the understanding and uptake of data driven products. If you're passionate about the intersection of advertising technology and data, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities: Ad Tech and Martech Platform Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of ad servers (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Adswizz), DSPs, DMPs, and martech platforms to execute data-driven strategies. Audience Segmentation Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial audience segmentation strategy to enhance targeting capabilities across various advertising platforms.Custom Audience Building: Utilise ad tech and martech platforms to build high-value custom audiences based on diverse data sources. Data Partner Collaboration: Work closely with data partners to onboard, integrate, and analyse third-party data to enrich audience understanding and campaign performance.Campaign Insights and Measurement: Partner with media sales and marketing teams to deliver insightful analysis and measurement frameworks for advertising campaigns, leveraging data to demonstrate ROI and identify optimisation opportunities. Commercial Data Product Development: Design and deliver user-friendly commercial data products and tools that empower the media sales team to effectively position and sell data-driven advertising solutions.Data Product and Clean Room Education: Lead the education and training of the media sales teams on the value proposition, functionality, and utilisation of our commercial data products and clean room environments. Competitive Data Insights: Collaborate with the research and insights team to provide compelling competitive data insights that differentiate our offerings and contribute to winning a higher share of advertising briefs.CDP and Clean Room Utilization (Advantageous): Utilise Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and clean room environments to enhance data integration, privacy-compliant collaboration, and more targeted campaigns. Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant privacy regulations.Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate complex data concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Advertising, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an ad tech or data-focused role within the advertising or media industry. Demonstrable experience working with ad servers (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Adswizz), DSPs, and DMPs. Proven ability to build custom audiences and implement audience segmentation strategies.Experience in analyzing campaign performance data and delivering actionable insights. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives and educate non-technical audiences.A proactive and collaborative approach with a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and be familiar with clean room environments and privacy-enhancing technologies.
