Meet the Team: We are looking for an energetic and strategic Territory Sales Manager/Account Executive - Mid Market based in Auckland to lead our initiatives in the Commercial Mid-Market and Small to Medium Business (SMB) sectors across New Zealand. This role functions as the general manager for the territory, driving growth and revenue through direct and channel sales strategies. Our business model is channel-led, programmatic, data-intensive, and promotion-driven, targeting regional customers. We leverage Cisco’s portfolio, including Networking, Meraki, Collaboration, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and AI solutions.Your Impact: Develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) plan with internal and external stakeholders, based on market insights, channel landscape, customer analysis, and competitive assessments. Align and collaborate with Architecture Sellers, Business Development Managers, Marketing, and Distribution teams to enhance bookings and grow the customer base across all routes to market (RTM).Achieve sales targets by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new logos. Monitor success metrics such as customer spend growth and partner network expansion in cross-architecture sales. Manage territory growth plans aligned with RTMs and marketing strategies. Oversee sales activities, manage opportunities, and coordinate with the architecture sales team.Engage with key partners and distributors strategically. Maintain pipeline health and forecast territory performance. Minimum Qualifications: Over 10 years of experience in tech sales, with proven quota achievement. Experience selling through channels in New Zealand, including resellers, distributors, and service providers.Previous vendor sales experience. Proven success in sales management within SMB and mid-market sectors. Strong record in channel sales and market development. Expertise in data-driven and promotion-focused sales strategies. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Cisco’s product range, architectures, and services. Strategic thinker with innovative growth strategies. Experience in cross-functional collaboration. Ability to influence within a matrix organization. Strong communication skills at all organizational levels. Understanding of product, service, and channel sales at Cisco or similar companies.Experience as a change agent. Experience in SP and MSP environments, especially in service development for SMB and mid-market customers.
