Systems Support Analyst, Auckland

As one of our Systems Support Analysts, you’ll play an important role in providing technical assistance to our students, staff, and parents within the Information and Communication Technology environment. Support is provided face-to-face, via email, Teams, or by phone. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.Job Description You’ll have: At least 2 years’ experience in IT technical support Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate well to students, staff, and parents in an understandable manner Solid knowledge of Windows and Apple systems and a technical mindset Active problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsPrevious experience in a similar role within the education sector (advantageous) Desired Skills and Experience Working in a supportive team environment, you will be a key member of our Information Systems Support (ISS) team. You should be a self-starter, action-oriented, proactive, and demonstrate strong customer care skills. A strong knowledge of Apple OSX and iOS is required, and experience with MDM technology is advantageous. Knowledge and experience with MS Windows 10, MS Office Applications, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace are essential.The position involves: Face-to-face problem resolution at a service counter and support calls Logging, monitoring, and escalating helpdesk jobs as required Resolving problems within defined SLAs Maintaining high communication standards Providing recommendations for remedial or preventative actionsMaintaining an asset register and recording fault details and solutions Supporting end users with hardware and software issues Assisting with ICT projects and improvements Performing administrative tasks on Windows servers, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace Focusing on delivering the best possible outcomes and services for end usersAbout Diocesan School for Girls We are a high-performing independent Anglican School with state-of-the-art educational and sporting facilities.
