Join us and be a part of our mission to drive sustainability through technology and talent at Tata Consultancy Services, APAC today.Role : Data Architect Experience : 10+ Years Location : Auckland 10+ years of experience in data architecture, solution design, data engineering, data warehouse and BI roles. Expertise in modern cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and big data technologies (Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, and AIS).Strong experience in enterprise data modelling, data engineering, business intelligence, data warehouse design, and building data integration frameworks. Proficiency in designing solutions for reporting ecosystems (Power BI) and AI/ML platforms. Working knowledge of data governance concepts, including cataloguing, lineage, data privacy, and compliance.Experience designing both batch and streaming data architecture. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Prior experience in large consulting organisations or client-facing environments is an advantage. Key Responsibilities :Enterprise Data Architecture: Define and govern data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across cloud, big data, AI/ML, reporting, and governance platforms. Solution Design: Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that meet business and regulatory needs.Data Engineering Enablement: Design and optimise data pipelines, integration frameworks, and storage solutions to enable efficient data ingestion, transformation, and consumption. Business Intelligence&Reporting Alignment: Ensure architecture designs meet reporting and analytical needs, optimising data models for Power BI and other reporting platforms. Data Modelling: Design and maintain logical and physical data models to support both operational and analytical workloads. Platform Alignment: Align solutions with Azure services, Databricks, Delta Lake, Power BI, and other enterprise platforms.Technical Leadership: Guide engineering and analytics teams on design, implementation, and optimisation of data solutions. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers, AI/ML Scientists, Analysts, and Governance teams to translate business requirements into effective architectures.Data Governance: Embed data security, privacy, metadata management, and data quality principles into all architecture designs. Innovation and Optimization: Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute innovative, cost-effective ideas to continually enhance the data ecosystem.
