Opportunity Overview Work on large major projects across New Zealand Join a leading company in the electrical sector Your New Company We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic thinker to join a high-performing team within a well-established and respected organisation in the electrical sector.Your New Role As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of major projects across New Zealand. Your responsibilities include developing accurate and competitive cost estimates, contributing to bid strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver successful tenders. Reporting to the Senior Estimator, your daily tasks will include:Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions from first principles or historical data Developing bid strategies, value engineering options, and project schedules Reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotes and negotiating contracts Collaborating with project managers and commercial teams throughout the tender processQualifications and Skills Current Electrical Practising Licence or equivalent tertiary qualification Proven estimating experience within the electrical industry (commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or maintenance) Strong knowledge of NZ contract conditions, electrical regulations, and industry practicesExcellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills What You'll Get in Return Work on diverse and challenging projects Be part of a supportive and experienced team What You Need to Do Now If interested, click 'apply now' to send your updated CV to or call Lora at 021457563.
