Planning and Community Engagement– Engagement Consultant We have an exciting opportunity for an Engagement Consultant to join our Planning and Engagement team based in Auckland and contribute to the success of WSP’s national business. In this role, you will collaborate as part of a team to deliver engagement for a range of infrastructure, planning, and environmental projects.As an Engagement Consultant, you will lead and contribute to engagement strategies for some of New Zealand’s most significant infrastructure developments. Your responsibilities will include preparing engagement materials, conducting in-person engagement activities, coordinating events, documenting engagement outcomes, and preparing presentations and reports.This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in in-person engagement, seeking career-leading opportunities. About You Relevant tertiary qualification 5+ years’ professional experience Strong written communication skills, including experience in preparing collateral such as newsletters, FAQs, website content, and report writing to document engagement outcomesStrong verbal communication skills with demonstrable experience in community and stakeholder engagement Event coordination experience, high level of organization, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Experience with the Consultation Manager platform is advantageous but not essentialAbility to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders Imagine a better future for yourself and for the communities you care about.
