SO/ Auckland is located in the heart of Auckland's CBD, offering views of the Waitematā Harbour and city, across 16 floors and 130 design-led rooms.We are currently looking for a Permanent Full-Time (40 Hours per Week) Night Auditor/Receptionist who is hands-on and has a keen eye for detail to help us deliver the best Guest Experience! This role involves working across a 7-day rotating roster, including day and night shifts.Job Description This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career and build upon their current skillset. The Role Work overnight from 11pm to 7:30am, including day shifts. Check in and check out guests, maintaining accurate accounts and timely posting of charges. Open communication channels between guests and all hotel departments.Respond positively to queries, redirect to appropriate departments as needed. Assist with guest luggage, car doors, and ensure timely delivery of guest vehicles and luggage. Maintain an immaculate appearance of the guest services desk, lobby, and forecourt. Assist with reservations, ensuring guest requests are actioned and documented.Manage late arrivals and early departures, following set procedures with a customer-focused approach. Knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS and balancing procedures; run reports and prepare statistical information as required. Compile Night Audit reports and documents in accordance with PCI Compliance and distribute to relevant departments.Complete system backups following finance policies. Assist night services such as room service, parking, and porter services to ensure efficient guest arrivals and departures. Qualifications About You Experience in a luxury/lifestyle hotel environment is highly advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Full driver’s license is essential for managing guest vehicle parking from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Knowledge of the local area is highly advantageous. Knowledge of OPERA Cloud is advantageous. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Experience in hospitality, especially night shifts, is preferred.Reservations experience is beneficial due to 24-hour operations. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage emergencies effectively. Proficiency in hotel management software and front office systems.
