We are looking for a tenacious Business Development Manager with a successful track record in securing and onboarding new direct advertisers across MediaWorks Radio, Outdoor, and Digital platforms. Your ability to build relationships and uncover opportunities will set you apart. You thrive on delivering results for clients and exceeding sales targets.The opportunity Reporting to the Sales Director - Auckland, you will convert leads into new accounts while managing a portfolio of existing advertisers and delivering exceptional client service. Implement customised sales strategies to seek new accounts Manage the current portfolio of clients Cultivate and maintain an extensive network of business contactsAchieve targets and KPIs Build long-term relationships with clients Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline, meeting reports, and contact reports About you You will have extensive Business Development experience, ideally in direct media sales. You are a natural sales star who maintains an extensive network of contacts. You deliver exceptional service and build rapport in every interaction.Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills with a successful track record A self-starter who enjoys setting and exceeding goals Experience in new business acquisition and account management Understanding of the sales process, time management, and planning Competitive and collaborative mindset, working effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong commercial acumen and understanding of market dynamics Why MediaWorks?
