You will develop accessible, engaging digital learning resources to support teaching and student engagement across the university.Responsibilities include: Designing, building, and maintaining web-based content and multimedia resources in line with UX and accessibility standards. Applying WCAG, UDL, and UX design principles. Managing web platforms with a mobile-first, SEO-aware approach. Collaborating on multimedia production, including videos and podcasts.Using analytics and AI tools to evaluate and optimize digital resources. Contributing to digital capability development for teaching staff. This is a full-time, 37.5 hours/week, permanent role. Salary ranges from $83,300 to $102,900 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. For more details, see the Position Description.About the Team The Learning and Teaching Design Team enhances teaching and learning at the university by designing high-quality, accessible curriculum and multimedia resources, supporting strategic initiatives to improve student success. About You We seek an experienced, creative professional who thrives in collaborative, agile environments. You will have:A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years). Current certification in digital accessibility (e.g., IAAP-CPACC, WAS). 3–5 years of experience in digital content and multimedia design. A portfolio showcasing digital content creation. Experience with CMS platforms, Adobe Creative Cloud, LMS platforms, and AI tools.Strong understanding of UX, UDL, SEO, copyright, and data privacy. Experience supporting diverse learners with culturally responsive pedagogies.
