We're looking for skilled Gaming Machine Technicians to keep our casino running smoothly. In this role, you'll be hands-on with cutting-edge gaming technology—installing, maintaining, and repairing our gaming machines to ensure our guests experience uninterrupted thrills.You'll play a vital role in: Maintaining and servicing our extensive fleet of gaming machines (there is over 2,100 machines in the Auckland precinct!) Installing and relocating gaming products Troubleshooting technical issues with precision and efficiency Performing soldering repairs on electronic circuit boards and cablesEnsuring all cash-handling procedures are followed to the highest standard You're a problem-solver with a passion for technology and an eye for detail. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where no two days are the same. Whether you're diagnosing complex technical issues or assisting other SkyCity departments, your expertise helps keep the entertainment going.What we're looking for: Electrical Service Technician (EST) Certificate OR at least one year of experience working with gaming machines A hands-on approach with strong technical troubleshooting skills The ability to work a 24/7 hour rotating shift roster (including weekends) Must be 20 years or older (as per the Gambling Act 2003) and able to obtain a Certificate of Approval (COA)At SkyCity, we don't just offer jobs—we offer careers in an exciting, fast-moving industry.
