This is a full-time permanent role that supports the risk management policies and application within the Office of Chief Clinical Officer (OCCO).As a National Risk Manager, you will Lead, manage, and review organisation wide processes for Risk and Quality Assurance management. You will work as part of the NCSLT, overseeing the delivery of Risk and Quality Assurance reporting that tracks performance, identifies potential issues and opportunities and provides relevant support to RDs, GDO's and their teams. You will also work closely with others across the sector to ensure services are accessible and usable for all levels of the system and across the motu whilst enabling equity for Māori, Pacific People's.About the Team/Service/ Location This role sits within the Quality and Patient Safety team, within the Office of Chief Clinical Officer (OCCO), National Clinical Leadership Directorate. The National Risk Manager, OCCO serves as an advisor to National Clinical Senior Leadership Team (NCSLT) in the areas of clinical risk management.About you We are looking for strong senior management experience in successfully building and managing senior stakeholder relationships (both externally and internally). You are a strategic thinker with proven experience in financial literacy, risk management and project management. With your well-developed written and oral communication skills, you will be driven to develop national programs that make a real difference.
