Join to apply for the Senior Quality Engineer - Fixed Term role at Westpac New Zealand 6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Mō te tūranga | About the Role Actively oversee and participate in the team's delivery and best practice by designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automation/functional test solutions across the WNZL landscape using the most appropriate tool set, and 'best practice' techniques and agilequality engineering practices.Providing peer reviews across the WNZL community regarding testing strategies and solutions. Actively participate in the overall delivery, in line with broader technology and business strategies Review requirements/user stories and technical documentation, participate and drive workshops to ensure understanding and design of test scenariosEducate the wider Business Area on quality and the benefits of different types of testing, ensuring best practice Mentor, coach and support peers and less experienced members of the Business Area Demonstrated experience in the design, implementation and execution of functional and automated test solutions, tools and techniquesDemonstrated experience with Performance Testing using, but not limited to JMeter Demonstrated experience with designing and executing performance tests to evaluate CPU usage, memory efficiency, disk I/O latency and network performance Demonstrated experience with test automation using PythonDemonstrated experience in setting or optimising CI/CD pipelines with ADO, Jenkins or CloudBees would be a bonus Demonstrated experience with Performance Testing using, but not limited to, LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling Experience with Apache Spark: Understanding of Spark SQL, dataframes, datasets, and streaming.Experience with Apache Airflow: Understanding of Airflow, including DAG creation, scheduling, and monitoring. Big Data Tools: Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem and other big data processing tools.
