SECA | ASMS In addition to your salary, you will: Receive a generousannual allowance to cover your continued medicaleducation expenses (including associated travel and accommodation costs)as well as paid time off to attend events including internationalconferences.Receive a mutually agreed relocation package. Have access to an employer matched Superannuation contribution ofup to 6% of annual earnings. The successful applicant will: Deliver quality services to improve the health of children frombirth to early adolescence in the Marlborough region. Join a supportive multidisciplinary team including 3 otherexperienced General Paediatricians and a team of RMOs, midwives, and nursesmaking a positive difference.Participate in the 1:4 on-call roster to cover acute generalpaediatrics, a Special Care Bay Unit (from 34 weeks - gestation), and arange of out-patient services. Supervise and participate in teaching of medical students, juniordoctors and nursing/midwifery colleagues. The ideal applicant will: Bring your medical expertise and experience to an acute secondarycare hospital and contribute to the advanced care of acute paediatric inpatientsand a full spectrum of general paediatric outpatients. Have General Paediatric and Neonatal experience together with areasof special interest that complement the current paediatric team. A specialinterest in child development and behaviour would be desirable.Be qualified to join the Paediatric MEDSAC team. Hold current accredited Advanced Paediatric Life Support, orequivalent. Be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocationalscope of Paediatrics with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
