Exercise Group Helper (Parkinsons Exercise Group), Blenheim

Exercise Group Helper (Parkinson's Exercise Group) Support and assist people attending this Wednesday morning exercise group, and assist with set-up and pack-down if needed. This exercise group is attended by approximately 15 people living with Parkinson's or Multiple Sclerosis. Classes are run every Wednesday from 10:30am to 11:30am. Volunteers would ideally need to be present from 10:15am to help with any set-up required. Volunteers don't need to be available to help every Wednesday.Exercises include seated movement, speech exercises, stretches, and exercises to improve and maintain balance and coordination. Location: Redwoodtown Bowling Club (Weld Street) Requirements: Volunteers don't need any specific skills; we are looking for enthusiastic, friendly people who are reasonably able-bodied and stable on their feet.Volunteers of any age are welcome; selection is based on maturity and ability to relate to class attendees.
