Surveyor - Civil Construction, Christchurch

Assemble Recruitment are partnered with a Canterbury owned Civil Contractor on their search for a Surveyor. With a strong pipeline in place for 2025 across both private and public projects you will have the opportunity to be exposed to a range of civil projects across bulk earthworks, three waters, demolition, roading, etc. You will be reporting directly into the Managing Director.You will be joining a family-owned company who values their employees and support growth and development opportunities; they pride themselves on having an inclusive and collaborative culture. Key Responsibilities Area and volume calculations. Site set out. Plan interpretation. Accurate as built measurements.Collaborating with other team members including project managers, site supervisors, machine operators, etc. The Ideal Candidate 5 years of surveying experience either from a civil contractor or a civil consultancy. Experience with Topcon or Leica survey equipment and / or machine control. A relevant survey qualification.Motivated and positive attitude.
