Automotive Electrician– Christchurch Are you an experienced Auto Sparky ready for a change? Come live and work in vibrant Christchurch! We’re looking for Automotive Electricians to join busy workshops across the city. Get stuck into a mix of diagnostic, repair, and install work in a region known for its innovation, lifestyle, and gateway to the great outdoors.What you’ll be doing: You’ll be working on a variety of vehicles and systems, including: Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults Maintaining automotive electrical systems Identifying faulty wiring and defective components Installing alarms, GPS, audio systems, lighting and more Testing and replacing batteries and charging systemsDiagnosing systems like airbags, ABS, ECUs, and advanced safety tech Carrying out safety checks on electrical systems Bonus if you’ve got diesel or petrol mechanical experience too, including general servicing, filter replacements, or engine overhauls.
