Our Ports and Maritime team is expanding across Australia and New Zealand. We are recruiting a Principal Maritime Engineer to join our team in Wellington, Auckland, or Christchurch.Your role as a Principal Maritime Engineer will involve leading project delivery and pursuing multidisciplinary maritime projects. You will direct design and study teams on our portfolio of maritime projects, developing and documenting complex maritime engineering and port planning solutions that exceed client expectations.Your focus will include maritime infrastructure planning and design, engaging with senior engineers and technical leaders, supporting junior team members, and delivering outputs for small to large multidisciplinary Ports and Maritime projects. You will collaborate with other members of the Maritime team and the wider Jacobs team across disciplines and locations, including mentoring less experienced staff. You will also lead bids and marketing efforts to build and maintain a project pipeline in New Zealand.Integration into our ANZ Ports and Maritime team is essential, supporting initiatives and maintaining regional connectivity.
