About The Role Excellent opportunity for a customer service superstar to join our small supportive team as a Medical Receptionist in our fast-paced clinic located at Hawthorn . Please note, you may be required to work at our Moonee Ponds clinic, covering hours between 6am-10pm . As a medical receptionist, you will be responsible for:Managing all phone inquiries in a timely, professional, and confidential manner. Greeting patients and managing front-of-house reception. Scheduling appointments for patients and referrers. Issuing patient invoices/receipts and processing Medicare rebates as required. Entering and updating patient registration details.Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception and waiting area. This is an outstanding opportunity for those eager to learn, driven, resilient, and empathetic, with a strong customer service background. You Will Have Strong customer service and patient focus skills. Eagerness to learn. Excellent time management and organizational skills.High attention to detail and confidentiality.
