The hospital consists of ten digital operating theatres and features robotic technology with a highly experienced robotic team, advanced digital scanning technologies, and consulting facilities onsite.The hospital provides a first-class preadmission service, admissions services, day surgery and three inpatient wards including a high dependency area. The hospital offers a wide range of elective surgical services including Orthopaedic, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Oral and Facial Maxillary, Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Plastic&Reconstructive, Bariatric, General, and Endoscopic surgery. The hospital employs over 350 highly skilled and trained staff to ensure patients receive high quality care. Southern Cross’ Christchurch Hospital is looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Lead in General Surgery to join our fun, dynamic and professional team. The Clinical Nurse Lead provides leadership to a team of theatre nurses.We currently have a full time Clinical Nurse Lead position available preferably with experience of leading teams. This is a senior position and will suit an experienced team player who will inspire our team in their drive for excellence in the provision of quality surgical care here at Christchurch. Ideally, you will be an amazing theatre nurse with good interpersonal skills, able to maintain and create strong clinical relationships with our visiting surgeons and fellow healthcare professionals.Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate and scope of practice applicable to working in a surgical setting A minimum of 5 years of post-registration theatre experience Post graduate qualification in clinical nursing practice or / working towards.
