Mō te tūnga | About the role Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha Canterbury hosts an innovative Pain Management Centre at Burwood Hospital, serving individuals with chronic non-malignant pain and related wellbeing issues.The Centre operates as an Interdisciplinary Team to help patients regain lost functions due to chronic pain. It offers outpatient clinics, programmes, interventional procedures, and occasional inpatient admissions. The team is currently rebuilding and seeks leaders to help regain Faculty of Pain Medicine accreditation as a recognized training centre.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills&Experience We are seeking a permanent full-time or part-time Pain Medicine Physician with holistic experience within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and meet the Faculty of Pain Medicine's criteria.
