Are you an experienced English writer who would like to lend your expertise to train AI models?About The Opportunity Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in English to help train generative artificial intelligence models. This reading and writing-intensive freelance opportunity is remote and the hours are flexible, so you can work whenever is best for you. You may contribute your expertise by…Reading English text to rank responses produced by an AI model. Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, which may involve research and fact-checking. Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced text. Examples of desirable expertise include: Experience as a professional writer or editor.Currently enrolled in or completed an associate degree or higher in a writing-related discipline at an accredited institution. A strong sense of writing style with exceptional English spelling, grammar, logic, and reasoning skills. Attention to detail and the ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses of a text.Payment Current pay rates for core project work by English writing experts in the US average USD $15 per hour. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. Lower rates may apply during onboarding or overtime phases.
