This is a permanent part-time role of 48 hours per fortnight. Responsibilities will include: Transcribing medical reports from audio dictation and written documentation, proofreading and editing.Maintaining accuracy, speed and attention to detail to ensure quality standards are upheld at all times. Handling phone inquiries, preparing letters and emails, and booking appointments. Administrative duties such as maintaining and updating documents, records, and handling urgent medical courier requests.Preparing slides and tissue samples for external testing, ensuring accurate documentation for national and international shipments. Other office tasks as required. About you | He kōrero mōu Previous Dictaphone clinical typing experience (anatomical pathology preferred). Fast (minimum 60 wpm), accurate typing (accuracy favoured over speed).Knowledge of office systems. Excellent command of the English language. An organised and methodical approach to tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be computer literate and have the ability to work in a highly structured environment following set procedures to the letter.
