Operations Manager– Christchurch As we grow our presence in Christchurch, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Operations Manager to lead the charge. This is a key leadership role where you’ll drive operational excellence, build client relationships, and help shape the future of our commercial services in the region.About the Role Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering and expanding our commercial outdoor services across a variety of clients in Christchurch. Leading a skilled and motivated team, you’ll drive outstanding results across horticulture, mowing, and small project delivery. Your focus will be on building our reputation for excellence, consistently exceeding client expectations, and identifying new opportunities to grow our commercial footprint in the region.What We're Looking For We’re looking for a confident, proactive leader with a strong background in commercial operations, parks management, or facilities services. Ideally, you’ll bring: Proven experience in leading high-performing operational teams A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to develop business opportunities and manage contracts effectivelyConfidence in developing budgets, setting targets, and driving operational initiatives to achieve financial and service outcomes Excellent relationship management skills– you’ll build strong partnerships with a range of commercial clients and stakeholders Strong written and computer skills, with a knack for reporting and clear communicationHigh resilience– you stay calm and positive under pressure, adapt quickly to change, and bring stability and confidence to your team in challenging situations Experience with recruitment, performance management, and staff development A proactive attitude towards Health&Safety and the ability to lead by example Qualifications in Horticulture or a related field are an advantage but not essential Full New Zealand driver’s licence (manual preferred) What We Offer We’re proud to be part of one of Australasia’s leading green space management companies.
