The Role: Providing a high-quality service to older residents within a sheltered housing facilityVisiting the Scheme at least once a week, providing advice to residents Dealing with tenancy issues and ensuring that communal areas are clean Arranging maintenance and repairs in the communal areas Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups The Candidate should have: Ability to reflect on working practices and provide ideas for improvementAbility to work effectively with key partners to deliver shared objectives. Experience of applying common sense to situations and the risks Experience of working within the social housing sector or providing services to older residents Demonstrable working knowledge and understanding of issues relating to older people and provision of services in the localityGood knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to maintain accurate records of information Ensures customer insight data is captured and feedback is listened to and acted upon to improve services. Ability to think ahead, to plan, prioritise and schedule activities to deliver organisational objectives.Committed to delivering quality work and meeting deadlines, making effective use of available resources. Ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to assess the extent and scope of a given problem or issue and decide what action to take.
