Principal Structural Engineer, Christchurch

We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Structural Engineer to join and provide leadership in our busy Christchurch structural team. If you’re someone who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary practice (civil, structural, environmental and geotechnical engineers, surveyors and planners), across varied projects ranging from residential and commercial developments to bridges and civil structures, we’d love to hear from you.Our ideal applicant has the following: A tertiary qualification in engineering, preferably from New Zealand. Be a Chartered Professional Engineer. A minimum of 10 years' relevant New Zealand experience. Experience: Commercial and residential design, quality control and construction supervision.Current New Zealand design codes, seismic assessments and MBIE guidance documents. Leading projects and managing a team of graduate and intermediate staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an acute attention to detail.
