The role involves all aspects of providing the software used to deliver our global managed service, including analysis, design, build, deploy, permissions and support. You will be using JADE Object Orientation language and will be required to upskill and develop in JADE.You will be working on a very technical, mission-critical solution that manages and monitors applications, operating systems, and cloud configurations. This is not your typical business application or front-end development role. Key responsibilities include: Using JADE Object Orientated language, you will be required to upskill in JADE development, installation, configuration and administration.Design, develop, maintain, and test software used to deliver our global managed service. Take a leading role in the architectural, direction and design decisions. Use your experience and specialist knowledge to mentor and upskill your colleagues across the team, division and when appropriate across the organisation.Play a leading role when coding, testing, and installing applications, ensuring high quality standards. Use your knowledge and experience to contribute to technical direction. Use a strategic mindset to identify and implement technology trends that will be able to support the future success of the business.Utilise clean coding, comments, and project documentation to demonstrate solutions. ABOUT YOU We are looking for a talented Senior Developer with experience working in Operations environments: A Senior Developer with extensive experience (7 + years) across diverse technologies; ideally with Object Oriented Languages and a focus on back-end development.In depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems; architecture, security and administration In depth knowledge of software architecture and design patterns The ability to learn new technologies quickly, and have a passion for continuous learning Willingness and desire to share your knowledge with your team and peers, providing guidance where needed.Excellent communication skills. Strong problem diagnosis and investigation skills. For this role it would be advantageous to have: Relevant AWS or Azure Certifications. Knowledge of Networking concepts - network infrastructure, access networks, and OSI network layers.
