Acting as their site rep you will: Oversee construction&engineering work and ensure work is delivered on schedule and budget, with a critical focus on quality. Be active in Project Meetings, work collaboratively with contractors, consultants and engineers and manage RFIs, change orders and claims. Provide regular project reports, manage risk, and problem solve any design or construction issues.To be considered we are seeking the following: Several years Project Management Construction Management experience. Experience on complex Industrial projects (Oil, Gas, Power Generation, Industrial Processing, Dairy Processing, Aerospace, Mining). Excellent knowledge of New Zealand construction, contracts, and Health&Safety. Technically minded and able to understand complex engineering/construction plans. Degree or Diploma qualifications in Engineering or Construction. Excellent communication&interpersonal skills. Team Player. This project will be a great addition to your experience and provide exposure to global leading technology with a leading business. The team is professional, successful, yet very down to earth and friendly and their success is down to the innovation and collaborative approach.This is a 24 month contract, and open to someone contracting directly to the client and discussion on relocation and travel expenses. Applicants MUST have New Zealand based experience with good knowledge of local engineering and building codes, contracts and a range of industry connections.
