Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the Role Te Whare Hohou Roko is a 9-bed, 24-hour medium secure inpatient unit within the Regional Forensic Psychiatric Service of the Specialist Mental Health Services in Te Whatu Ora. The team integrates relational security and provides multidisciplinary assessment, planning, and reviews to support individualized care. They are dedicated to developing good therapeutic relationships with consumers and involved family/whānau.As a Registered Nurse, you will complete the case manager role, coordinating and facilitating MDT plans. The team emphasizes developing collaborative therapeutic relationships to achieve positive, safe outcomes. Previous forensic or acute specialist mental health nursing experience is preferred but not essential.The role involves a rotating roster pattern, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Extra shifts may be available.
