Located inŌtautahi | Christchurch, Aotearoa | New Zealand Full-time 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE) Continuing (permanent) position Generous annual leave provisions and professional development opportunities Āu Mahi | What You Will Do As a Logistics Assistant, you will provide effective and efficient logistical assistance to all colleges and departments. Your key responsibilities will include:Assisting with the delivery, relocation, storage and installation of furniture. Ensuring all goods held in the Warehouse/Mailroom are accurately recorded and are handled and stored in a safe and secure manner. Providing operational support for university events and ceremonies. Assisting with organising and maintaining furniture storage areas to ensure accessibility and safety.Mōu | Who You Are You will be an experienced logistics professional with at least 2 years' experience in distribution services and/or furniture and warehouse management. You will also have: A clean and current NZ Driver's Licence. The ability to perform the physical aspects of the role. Experience using hand tools for basic furniture assembly.Knowledge of Health&Safety regulations (desirable). An active commitment to UC values and cultural practices.
