This role involves providing technical support for Dr. Migrate and other LAB3 products that enhance cloud transformation. The position is open to candidates anywhere in Australia or New Zealand and involves participation in product release cycles and serving as the escalation point for technical support issues.The Role Triage and diagnose deployment issues: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve deployment issues, providing expert guidance and root cause analysis. Identify&diagnose bugs/defects: Proactively find and analyze bugs, collaborating with development teams for fixes and releases. Continuous improvement of tools and automation: Enhance internal tools, automate tasks, and optimize workflows using PowerShell and other automation tools. Collaborate with product development: Provide feedback, troubleshoot, and suggest improvements for product reliability and features.Documentation and knowledge base: Maintain and create support documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides. Release Management: Ensure smooth deployment of updates, patches, and new versions, including testing and validation. Patch and maintain deployed products: Manage patches and updates to ensure security and stability with minimal customer disruption.Customer engagement and issue resolution: Act as a key contact for escalated issues, providing solutions and guidance. Mentorship and knowledge sharing: Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices. Performance and scalability analysis: Analyze system performance and implement improvements.On-call support and incident management: Provide critical incident support and lead response efforts. External stakeholder collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with vendors and partners. Quality assurance and testing: Contribute to testing plans to ensure quality releases. Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends and propose new solutions.The Ideal Candidate Experienced Microsoft Azure Cloud and DevOps engineer with troubleshooting expertise. Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers. Strong experience in developing PowerShell modules or scripting languages. Proficient in GitHub, CI/CD practices, and actions. Experience with Azure Migrate, large-scale migrations, and on-prem infrastructure.Solid networking knowledge, API development, and PowerBI administration skills.
